I purchased a xl sports brella and was hoping to just insert it in my middle pedestal (have 3 pedestals up front). It doesn't quite fit and was wondering what others might have had this problem and how you fixed it. It will work great if I can get it down in the pedestal a little further.
You gotta sand all the paint off.
I just happened to have a 3/4 reamer ran it through the bushings and it fit perfect. That stem is just a tiny bit larger than 3/4. A drill bit that size would work also.

Yeah, I put the pointed end in the pedestal and tied it down....Just would make me feel a little better if I could get it down in there a little further....... Not fond of added to the collection in the bottom of the lakes...LOL ...Thanks SatQuote:

Yeah i love mine as well...and will keep it tied down... Buy wouldnt mind it goin a lil further down in pedestal... Probably on goes down a inch ones the pionted end reaches the main shaft.. If that makes any senseQuote:
