MTCC Wildcat Tourney Results

:welcome MTCC held it's 7th tourney of 2012 today, with one of those being a kids/co-ed tourney, so we didn't really have a declared winner that day, as we made sure all the children were the winners and awarded them all prizes. With that being said, we have had 6 tournament events in 2012, and we now have our 11th first place winner 2012 and nobody has won twice yet.:yikes
Today started off early, first light, and actually ended pretty early too, as we were all back at the dock for the 10:30 am weigh in results. We had 9 boats fish this particular tourney which was a 3 fish tournament and it like the one we held last week, had more than one boat bring in some really nice sized fish. All boats caught fish today:Hands Clapping even though we were on a very short amount of tourney time. I appreciate every one who was able to come out and support the club event.:cheers2 Oh, btw, I had forgotten to add my $20.00 to the pot money so I ran it by Joey's house and gave it to him. He's got enough now to get two St.Croix rods out of today's tourney pot, if he so chooses to.:crazy: Congrats bud on a great day of .:fish

We had our on snake with us this morning. He didn't get to close or I would've left. Nothing i hate more or more afraid of than a snake. Congrats to Joey on some nice fish. If his wife knows about that money I doubt he gets two fishing rods because she will have half of it.

We hated to miss the tournament but my sinuses have declared war on me the last three days....Congrats to Joey........

It was a fun time especially when the snake appeared. We had the boat paddle handy just in case. The odd thing for us was the lack of fish around docks. That was the first time I have ever fished that many docks and not found decent fish. Ours good ones came off structure.
Tims is starting to creep up there close to the top as far as a favorite lake for me. If people put the time in they can fine fish on that lake. There is tons of structure; just go find it. I wish we would have had .3 more lbs..lol. Congrats Joey.

thanks for all the congrats i have to say that i really had fun wining was ok but the real fun was doing something new and not having to weight until our next tx thanks to everyone that came out to fish i hope we have several more wild cat tournaments maybe some nights / early short beat the heat / crowd tournaments

I wouldnt be opposed to some night tourneys myself. I will be the first to say, I think there is alot I can learn about night fishing. I have caught fish at night, and some good ones too, but its too spiratic, and not consistent enough. I am sure more time on the water night fishing would help.:)

x2 on this. I would definately be game for some night fishing. Much cooler & less crowded its has been a hit or miss with the crappie though with a whole lot more misses.
