Lake Prince-Saturday-51 crappie.
Lake Prince can be a tough nut to crack and I was only anticipating getting around 25 crappie so I'm pretty happy getting 51. Early, I got a few 6' down with a black/pink BGBS, then as the day wore on I hit deep water and was getting them counting down a pearl BGBS to 10' and vertical jigging a chartreuse/pearl wasshoppah tipped with a white crappie nibble 20' down. Average size today was right around 11", here's an example.

(one of the few I got with the Money jig)
Hardly any luck in the shallows. I pretty much stayed in water 25' and deeper. I showed surface water temp of 74-78.
Early on, on two occasions, just as I lifted my jig from the water after reeling it in, I saw a decent size crappie take one look at me and turn tail. They were chasing the jig to my boat. Later in the day it happened again, but this time, for the first time ever, I saw a crappie break water to get my jig. It was only a 9" crappie or so, but it was really neat to see it break water and hit my jig. All I had to do was lift my rod as I only had about 2' of line out.
