Thanks for sharing that Don. Needless to say it does bring a lump to the throat. And a big thanks to all my comrads in arms present and past.
Great reminder and thanks, but it burdens me that so many fought and died for their country and had a dream to keep it free yet only have a number on a wall. while other names are in every city on roads, statues, buildings and holidays, don't seem right. I SALUTE THEM!!

I agree wholeheartedly. Many have served, and we salute them on Veterans Day, but only a small percentage made the ultimate sacrifice. My grandmother was a Gold Star Mother, but I can't find a single online mention of her lost son's service in Patton's Army in Italy.
