Does it make a difference if they have been cleaned or not?
I believe the possesion limit here is 2 or 3 days worth of the limit. What if you are camping for say a week or so and are fortunate enough to limit on more than 3 of he days you fish (not a problem I'm likely to have)? Do the fish you have cleaned count against the limit?How would they count them, 2 filiets=1 fish?

start eatin em, breakfast, lunch and dinner, or chunk em back in da lake..........
This law is to keep people from coming here and catching fish for a week or two and them taking then home to sell.

On page 42 of the Mississippi Outdoor Digest this is clarified. One limit in one day and may transport 7 daily limits for each angler. Each angler must transport his/her own fish. So if you follow the daily limits and catch a limit each day for 7 days you can transport them to your home.
I have heard people say that out of state fisherman sell their catch. I have yet to see any proof of this. Tennessee is the only state that allowed crappie to be sold in eateries. Most all states have laws prohibiting the sale and or purchase of game fish. My bad. I did see a sign not long ago from Maryland that advertised crappie fillets for sale. If anyone has any documented proof of the sale of crappie, please post it.Quote:
