Got my ducer on and saved me 30 bucks.. made a block out of some vinyl from work.. then mounted the organial mount to it.. the put a air tube on the cord to protect it then wraped it to the shaft..only problem I see is the fin might cause a problem.. think I should trim it or will it be ok.. I didn't want to get it to close to the bladesAttachment 92081
I'm not really sure if the 2d element crystal or the DI element crystal is in the pointed front end of the DI xducer....
Either way I don't think the TM skeg is going to interfere the way you have it set up...

It is important for the xducer to be level with the water's surface when the xducer is in the water...
In the pic it looks like the xducer may be tilted front to back a little..
This could create some wierd DI images as the DI sonar beam is a thin slice (front to back) of the water column...and the DI beam could be pinging at an angle thru the water...

Yep, the bottom “face” of the transducer needs to be parallel to the surface of the water.
The fin of the TM will not cause any issues and may help save the transducer if you run into something.
There is a pivot joint where the two plastic brackets of the transducer come together. How are you holding the lower piece from moving? Is the metal clamp doing this?
