OK There is a three day weekend coming up. Where are your plans, where are you headed. Any fishing? Lets hear from you. And let hear some fishing reports when the weekend is over.
I am staying local. Fishing my to favorite lakes, Lopez and Santa Margarita. Plus a BBQ. Our church is having its 75 Year anniversary so Sunday will be tied up most of the day. This is the first three day weekend I will have off in a long time, I am going to enjoy it.
Every body have a great weekend and be safe.
I plan on going to a couple small lakes up in the mountains here and do some trout fishing. Went out Saturday witha buddy and his son and we caught about 50 fish, Sunday I went by myself and caught at least 25. Just got back and caught 17 today. Brought 5 fish home everytime and man those rainbows taste good after you grill em. MMMMMM
Monday I am thinking about going to Lopez and fish for the day not to sure yet. Gotta see whats going on around here with the co-workers. But I would like to get in to a bunch of crappie though.
Well, over here in NC I am going to give the crappie a brreak this weekend. The plan is to goto the coast Sat with my Wife and Baby daughter for a trip to the beach. Naturally I will be bringing my surf-fishing gear and hope to capture a couple flounder and or Bluefish for dinner!

Weellll, the shad were somewhat co-operative this afternoon, soooo....maybe some more of them. AND at least one, maybe two ponds this w/e. :-)

The Russian R. has been doing it's "shad" thing with the remnant runs it still contains.
The ponds we'll target will be some local ones near Petaluma.
