Zimmerman's Sports Center (Exxon station) down on the southern end of University. 3 doz. crappie minnows for $2. They also have a pretty decent supply of tackle, worms (red and crawlers), and crickets. Just about can't beat the prices.

They have a good supply of live bait and sometimes even have crawdads. Dont know about the grubworms though.
I know there is a place between Mt Harbor and Mt Ida that is the biggest bait shop I have ever seen with about 15 different varietys of minners. I stopped in the weekend of crappie camp and picked up 2 doz crappie minnows and 2 doz roseys and it was 2 bucks. They also have a huge selection of worms and offer some quality free advice. Will definately use them in the future.
I think the place your thinking of is Twin Creeks bait and tackle. I have never purchased live bait from them, but I have heard good things. I usually hit the Valero in Hot Springs on 70w at the end of the four lane and the begining of the construction. They are not as cheap as the ones you have mentioned, but anything is better than Trader Bills. I made some calls to Malvern in the last month on a trip to take my nephew out of star city and it seemed to me that they were high. 2 of the 3 places that advertised that I called carried minnows and they went for $2 a dozen. FRIDAY MEANS LAST SCHOOL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look out fish here I come!!!!!!!!!!!Quote:
