I was told that all I had to do was change the carp from 9.9 to a carb off 20 or 25 horse to mae my run faster is this true or false if so does anyone have a good one laying around thanks

Well for one a carb from a 20 or 25 won't fit on your 9.9, the only carb that will fit is a 15 hp, and the bigger jet will not get much in the way of more power and speed as many engine hace different port sizes for intake and exhaust and all you would be doing is wasting gas as even if there is more gas going thru the carb it stilloing into a 9.9 port which is small than the bigger hp motors. So you really won't see much if any increase.
When I raced motorcycles a good way to increase hp was to replace reed valves with performance ones you might do some research and see if this will work.
