My advice....throw every one you catch up on the bank for the raccoons to eat.BAWHAHAHARoflRoflRofl
Sorry, couldnt help myself.:) Good luck with your fishing.:p
this time of the year and with the extra warm weather they should be deep, 10 to 30 ft. Look in creek channels with you fish finder. early monrning and late evening will be best. At night they will be a little shallower
I drug some Bandits last month around Denby. I got ate up by the little carp.

Jighead worm on points is a good bet this time of year (shakey head and a trick worm). A white/chart spinnerbait is a good second choice. My buddy said he caught a few schooling a couple of days ago in the early morning so I guess that is getting started which means a topwater bite might be good early. Look for them to be in about 12-15 fow. I caught several on a jighead worm a couple of weeks ago and they were all on points and humps in an average of 12 fow. If you are interested in the crappie bite; it has been a bit slow but you can find them around brush piles in 15-20 fow. They have been wanting a vertical presentation here lately. Good luck and catch a bunch.
Thanx for info. This will definetely help. No worries all the carp caught will be eaten. I usually do hunt crappie there. This weekend is a bass weekend. Big fish fry.
