Once in awhile it will say "NO SOURCE" on my structure scan screens and they stop working. It usually lasts for only a few seconds then will start working again. Has anyone seen this on their units? Why does it happen? Thanks.

They say to wire in a Toggle Switch, so you can shut the power off to the SS-2 unit. Mine only show that when it is not getting POWER, due to the Toggle Switch being OFF or some other reason the SS-2 is not getting POWER.

my first guess would be a loose connection, then again, mine does that, just a booting up process, and no real problem,,, check for loose connection at the power head, and on the battery, and anywhere else that has anything to do with the structure scan module... luck
X2 yes loose connection on power to ss or line fromss to unit I found some power problems with those inline fuse holders, you know the ones with spring in them that takes the cylinder type fuse, when I hit waves sometimes I would loose power found spring in holder was weak wouldn't keep contact so changed to blade type fuse & no more troubles...
