No, any wobble means something is wrong, needs tightening. Probably the mount.
maj, the play is just in the head, like the shaft is turning 1 inch or so left and right and turning the head with it.........the mount is solid.
No wobble at all in mine

g, the only time it did it was in 2-3 ft. swells, when they crash in front of the boat...........seems like the shaft flexing a little from the impact..........wasnt you normal waves though, lol....we left.Quote:

i think i did, rip............when yours turns like that, will the motor cut on and off (the steering motor, not the prop motor). i dont think the steering motor on mine came on. thanks.Quote:
