jig painting question
I saw a post on here sometime last year about someone powder painting with one color and then taking a brush and putting another color on it and and creating a splatter effect with the second color. could someone elaborate on how to do this or point me in the right direction with finding the post. to be more specific i am looking for info on reheating the jig. Do you reheat before you cure the paint or do you reheat after you cure the first color? any info would be greatly appreciated.

I just dip it in the main color and then hold it over the 2nd color. I have an artist brush in the cup the paint to splatter on is in and right after it come out of the first paint I hold it over the next one and tap the brush to drop some splatter. You need to make sure there is not zoo much in the brush. I do pass it back through my flame just for a second and then cure when ready.

Like Skip said get your first color on then watch how much powder is on the brush - I use a heat gun for mine and tap it on. When it all works right and yes it does take practice this is what you can accomplish

You can also do it on blades
