Fished another MS River oxbow yesterday and finished with 38 in the cooler. Largest fish was 2lb 4oz. This was the first time I had ever fished this particular oxbow and I will be back. Caught a lot of quality fish and fought some of the biggest gar I have ever seen!!!http://img.tapatalk.com/a693489d-2b94-19cd.jpg

Great catch, You did say fought Gar, not land any?
Landed one that we broke the nose off of. Had 4 or 5 hooked good but they would get off right before the pliers were attached. These suckers were 3 to 5 footers. I didn't want any part of most of em, lol.
