The HDSI xducer has to have an unobstructed view left and right...
The flasher xducer will most likely block some of the left SI beam...
The motor can be trimmed up at slower speeds to get out of the way of the left SI beam....
I assume you are wanting to keep the flasher xducer for high speed readings??

What about putting it on the left side of the motor?
I have no trim it's a 25 hp motor
This definately makes it difficult because the left SI beam will be partially blocked by the flasher xducer and the motor...
Some guys have added a jack plate extension to move the motor back a few inches to allow adequate clearance for the SI beam....
Maybe someone that has done this will jump in with ideas for you...
As an added note here.... The 455kHz SI beam emits from the sides of the HDSI xducer horizontally level with the xducer so anything (flasher xducer) at the same level or below level of the HDSI xducer will block the SI beam...(see the depiction below to understand how the SI beam is shaped)...

Thanks guys for the info. I think I'll make a 2" spacer to set the motor back. And mount it on the left side. That should do it. A not alot of tourqe on a 25hp.
You will need about seven inches of clearance between the transom and the lower unit of the motor so as not to block any of the Si sonar.
Here's what I did. Allows for vertical adj.
