Will Miss Spring Camp

Well, the VA has finally decided what to do about treating the bladder cancer I have had for 3 years.

They are wanting to do chemotherapy & radiation. The radiation will be 5 days a week, for 6 weeks.

And the chemo-therapy will be one every 3 weeks. The chemo they will be using will be cisplatin.

So, this will interfere with my going to spring camp.
The doctors at two different VA medical centers say I am not a candidate for surgery. If I was, they
would be removing the bladder and prostate gland.
So, it looks like I will be a nightlight when they are done!

Any way, I hope you ALL have a great camp, and maybe I will be able to make the fall camp.

Dang sorry to hear you wont be at camp! I do hope they are able to get your issue resolved with this treatment though. Sending a prayer up for a full healthy outcome.

That word "cancer" has become the worst word in the world around our house, hope all well goes with you and the best of luck, will miss visiting with you at camp...... god's speed to you for a great recovery..........

You will be missed at camp for sure John. Get all fixed up and we will see in the fall or next spring.
