I know people have made pvc trees in buckets and had luck with them,I'm gonna make a few for myself, but has anyone ever cut a 6-8ft tree and sunk it in a bucket, just wondering if it would stand upright.

without supporting outriggers wired to the top lip of the bucket at 90 degrees it would likely fall over, unless dropped over a very soft bottom with deep muck...
Add a jug or other float to top of tree and it will help it stand up.
Thanks for the advice,I was wondering if anyone was going to post any help, thanks guys.
Falling over is not a bad thing as it gives crappie more places to get under. Probably attract and catch more fish off it if it did.
