Hmmm, could prob bend them to sickle shape? Would be cool if they did offer em, and if you pour jigs, a simple 90 degree turn could make a long shank to a jig hook maybe? Only thing would that sharp bend of the sickle make the hook easier to bend?

Check out lightwirehooker off the board. He makes his jigs with em.

I ordered the 149060-1 from
Captain Hook's Discount Warehouse
and they are about as light wire as I want to use.. Been real pleased with them, so sharp u can't hardly look at them without getting stuck.
I bought the extra lite wire hooks from Simmons in Alabama. There are a special order from eagle claw,I believe eagle claw told me 10k hooks min. order, might have been 100k . I had a heck of a time trying to find out what hook and where to buy em from. The folks at Eagle Claw put me in touch with Simmons. I cant remember the number for them and cant find the box. My wife and I poured a couple thousand for friends and us a few years ago and have not come close to running out yet. Bought several different Do-it molds and the ELW hooks were more easy to pour than standard hooks.
