Don't know about Cypress, but in Blood River they say it's about over. Most fishermen that I have seen have went back to the channel and flats. There may be some stragglers going shallow for a while but from the looks of things most have spawned. That report is from observation only, I have started bluegill fishing now.
When you startin the blog up Mike?
I don't see it on the site...are they gone?
Just got back from a tourney at Klake and I fished Blood River and Cypress better fish at Blood River IMO caught them on the ledges in 20-25 FOW best fish were on the channel ledges orange and chartruse, reed and chartruse glow jigs tipped with minnows and last day they were tearing up the curly tales tipped with minnows running about .4-.6 most of the big whites and blacks I caught were full of eggs some had spawned out also best fish for the week was 2.2 did have one that was way better but Murphey's Law kicked in and it wasn't ment to be did get to see her though big black I bet pushing 3 had her in 15 FOW on the channel edge in Blood River best luck I had was from mouth to the dog leg. Good luck buddy have fun hope it ain't as windy as it was Saturday for ya. A buddy of mine had some luck pulling cranks too.
