Week at Lake Chicot
Just got back from nearly a week down south. Fishing was slow but I stayed with it everyday and ended up catching nice fish everyday. Was prepared to travel to other lakes but ended up fishing there the whole time. All my fish were caught single pole bouncing a jig off the botton around cypress trees. The lake had a good level. I think it could bounce back to it's old glory if just left alone with minimal management like fish stocking. Can't wait to get back down there next month but I suspect by then the crappie will have have moved out from the cypress. My favorite way to catch them.

After whar we were told at Crappie camp most folks skipped fishing Chicot. Looks like our info was not 100 % correct , good job.
