Hb 788 hd di to hb 997

Anybody know if I can link a 788 HD DI to a 997 thru the Interlink?

I think you can but you will have to buy the adapter cable for the 788 and then what ever length interlink cable.

I should be able to just plug my Interlink cable right into the accessary port on the 788. My main concern is if the software will be compatable.

It should be but several have found that the newer units with the newer software have been very temperamental in working with the InterLink.
