Horseshoe or Midway?

Went to horseshoe yesterday and managed to get out before the hail storm. Caught 12, all but one were males. The one female was over a pound and full of eggs. I believe she was still a couple weeks away. The bite was slow and very light. Caught them around trees. The pads aren't thick enough yet. I was expecting them to be all over the place. Any word on Midway?

Going on Monday to the shoe. Its hard to find people that report on the fishing at either lake Midway or Shoe so please post where you find them at Midway. I will do the same. Any particular color or time of day that seemed to be the trick at Shoe?

I've fished the shoe 4 or 5 times and only caught 3 crappie. i wouldnt waste the gas to drive back over there.
