My waders have the felt soles instead of the rubber lug soles. Wondering how they would do wading the lakes around here. They work good on the white river but I'm thinking they may not hold up in the mississippi mud. What y'all think ?

Wade without them, water is plenty warm. Threw me a dry pair of shorts in the truck and a towel and went to the creek, wasnt cold at all.

I did a little bit of wading today myself with just shorts and old tennis shoes hah.
Wear some old tennis shoes over the stocking foot. Works for me.
