Reelfoot 3/28 - 4/1

Finally made it to the Foot for a long weekend. The fishin' was good.. The first day we got about 15 keepers and 20 dinks. The wind was rippin' for a power drift and thats what we did... drift! The next 3 days were tough... The wind calmed down and we were sittin' and doin' circles in the middle of the lake. We caught a bunch of dinks that weren't worth keepin' but still had fun and got fried on the boat! In the midst of those 3 slow days I was able to pick up some monster slabs. Suprisingly they were down deep about 8 ft. where the depth of the spot we went through was about 10 -12 ft. All in all, it was a fun trip, no work and just fish! Here some pics! The big guy in the bin was 15 1/2 in. 2 1/2 lb. slab! The black beast in my hands was 14 1/2 in. 2 1/4 lb. black! Like I said... I had fun not working! :biggrin
