What's up with the water?

I now there are a few of you guys that fish Lake Hamilton, and I want to know what the deal is with the water? I know after a week of rain or a quick heavy storm that the lake can get a sediment line, or after a weekend of wveryone and their brother beating the banks with wake the lake can appear muddy. What I don't understand is this brackish, tea-stained water we have had most of this spring. Can anyone give some insight? Does it or has it effected anyone's fishing or techniques?

Hey Jake:

I don't know why the water color is so odd on Hamilton this spring - never seen it like that before. We're still fishing it like we always have and doing OK on size but down some on numbers for this time of year. I hope it clears up - it's just not quite as pretty as it usually is.
