Gen2 HDS7 / LSS-1 bundle

Installing the Gen2 HDS7 / LSS-1 bundle.
After looking over the "instrictions"
Some of the Update info that is call for, I can not find on Lowrance web site.
OK so, What software update do I need / check for?
Is It just the Gen2 HDS soFtware 1.1.39.38 ?
I just don't want to brake it before I get to us it

Let me see if I can get it downloaded / installed:dono
I know the unit has 1.1 something..I'll check tonight.

I got all the old electronics / wires / transducers pull
And pulled all the new wire / tansducer / power for the new goodies.
Tonight --if it does not rain--mount the tranducers / LSS-1.

These electronics sound like the engineering programs that we use...have to update them once a week with these crazy version #'s. I suppose I better update mine before I install it too. Thanks for the reminder Rick. I believe that Shane had a link to that update a month or so ago.

Ok ..It worked.
Down loaded and install the Update for my Gen-2 HDS-7..

Well - Thanks to Chatt’s tech support, I got both the sonar and LSS-1 transducers installed..
Also figured out where to mount the LSS unit.

Howdy KS neighbors!!!

I'm in KC and fish in Smithville. I'm also active on the MO CDC board. Anyway.......I'm trying to install my update to the HDS 7 Gen 2 from Lowrance. It says to only put certain files on the SD card for MAC. I'm a reasonably savvy MAC user but can't figure out which files to put on the SD card. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you ever get up to Smithville give me a shout. I'll do my best to put you on the fish!!!
