Lacygne Wiper/White Bass Fishing 03/25/12

I took my boy white bass / wiper fishing today at Lacygne. Fished 6:30am to 12:30pm. We caught 41 fish...39 wipers and white bass and 2 catfish. We caught a few fish early at the hot water outlet on curly tail grubs and rattle traps but they were small. Water is already too warm at the outlet.

Moved to deep water at the south end of the lake and searched for bait fish. Ended up catching a few on some breif surface action but most came on spoons, Fishtech Double W spoons. My son caught his biggest wiper yet today. Great day to be on the water. Can't believe I'm saying this...but could have used a little more breeze today.
