Today I stayed close to the ramp with the impending report of magical electric from the sky. We caught many catfish and LGMouth and few nice crappie. 3 of them 14 inches long.

Got love the weathermen. I've decided that by missin' so much fishin' over the years by staying home when storms are called for, things will change this year. I have more years behind me than ahead and ligtning strike is as good as anything to finish with. I'll even breakout a couple of my dad's stainless steel True Temper spinning rods. Ha! Ha!
Nice looking mess of fish, I am sure that young man will not soon forget that catfish.
