Hello all!

Hello, fellow Kentuckian here! I've been fishing since I was a kid but only recently have I more seriously gotten into it. I live in Lexington and do not have a boat. So I fish places like Elkhorn Creek, etc. for bass but I want to try and catch some crappie as I've been told that they're good to eat. My ultra-light setup for crappie/panfish is a Pflueger Trion and a 5' Shakespeare UglyStik with 4lb test line. Nothing fancy. I'm slowly building an "arsenal" of panfish lures to try out. Just thought I'd drop in and say hi.
