1st time on the new kayak

So I finally got myself a kayak. It's a 2011 Wilderness Commander bought from Ozark Mountain Trading Company. Great guys there and very helpful. The past few days have been really windy so today was the first day I could actually get out and break it in. Went to a local lake called Crystal Lake. It's not a big lake but somewhere to stay out of the wind and test out the kayak. Not real productive but did get a few crappie, 8-10 inches, and a few 1 pound bass. Hopefully hitting Beaver Lake after spring break and all the idiots get off the water.

I can't see your pics. I bet its fun though. I'd like to give kayak fishing a try sometime.

I'll be off Beaver by Monday after next, so it should be safe:biggrin I would hate to run over a kayak with one of my fellow CdotComers at the helm. My 1542 jonboat may be like a kayak on beaver with all the spring break traffic.
