Need suggestions on new in-dash fish-finder

I have a boat that currently has a non-working lowrance x-25b fish finder installed
above the steering wheel. The size of the lowrance is approx. 5"x5".
I would like to replace it with something comparable in size, but I'm not wanting
to spend a large chunk of money. What would you do?

My cousin just bought a 2007 Lowe boat that has a "NAVMAN' depth finder in it and it looksto be the same size as the lowrance in my 1998 Lowe.
