Scattered fish....
I fished hard Fri. & Sat. The fishing was pretty tough. I managed 9 on Fri. plus an assortment of other fish. The fish were scattered. I couldn't ever catch more than 1 fish to a spot. The fish I caught we're really aggressive when they hit but it was few and far between. I tried a little of everything in water from 30' to 4' deep. Fished brush piles, rocks, standing timber. The majority of the fish came from 4-6' deep over a bare mud bottom on minnows. Go figure. Sat. was worse only managed 2 crappie and about 6 other types of fish. I searched everywhere and could not mark any fish at any depth on the fish finder. I'm curious to know how every body else did and where the fish were found. Hope you all had better luck than I did.

I had pretty much the same type of story. I fished on Sat., from 830-3p. I caught a few, more small fish (non-keepers) than keepers. I wound up with a 9 fish mess, (5crappie, 2 bass, 2 bream). Caught all my fish in 2 feet of water, on a tsunami swimbait (2" threadfin) on a BnM 10' jigpole. Those swimbaits work very well. I had a couple of big bass break me off using that bait. Most of my fish were scattered. Oxbow lake, real shallow, lots of cypress trees, and buck brush. Fish were on isolated brushpiles, not really on trees. The rain ended my day.

i know greenbrier is not far from where i live...(rogers) beaver lake...but i had the EXACT same luck last saturday after the rain had brought the lake up...up until that time they would hit a piece of bubblegum on top of the water up by the bank, but now they are "vanished"...J.T. Crappie Guide told me that they are actually seeking shelter (cover) under lay-ins and docks, etc. I am going 3 more times this week starting tomorrow, water same condition, storming bad this a.m. as i type....i will try and keep you posted and if i find a technique worth discussing i will let you know, plz do the same, thanks...caleb (i did catch 2 stripers, 3 flathead catfish, and about 30 white bass....those were fun!)
