Nates mother sent me a message on facebook and asked me to share this message with all of you:




On behalf of Nate Scholtz's family, we want to thank you for the beautiful flower arrangement you sent.

For all of you that posted on the site,thank you for the prayers and support. Your words were not only a comfort, but a source of strength for our family in this difficult time.

I also want to personally thank all of you that were able to attend the service. Of course TC Lloyd, his fishing buddy, who also served as a pallbearer, You are such a dear friend. It was nice to have meet Brian Roe, Harold McShea and Micheal Benjamin. I find comfort in knowing how fortunate Nate was to have known you all. May God bless you all!

That's nice of her. I cannot imagine what she and the family has gone thru loosing a son at such an early age. It had to be tough.

I am very glad i had to prevledge of knowing and fishing with Nate.

I'm sorry I did not respond to this a long, long time ago. I only seen it now. I hated hearing about this when it originally happened. I'm glad we got some flowers sent in the name of Crappie.com. It was a small token of our appreciation for his participation here. If I'm not mistaken, Flycaster set that up. Thanks John. I was honored to have met Nate at least the one time at Lake Santa Fe. He was a real nice guy. He is still missed very much. If you notice, my signature states "Wear Your PFD". I added that a year ago in his memory.

Thanks slab, he sure is missed. I used to talk to him everyday and would fuss at him if he diddnt go fishing and give me a good report, lol. We had a good time together and put some nice fish in the boat when we got together. I just wished I could have been with him that day..........
