Grays lake
Has anyone ever fished Grays Lake south of Sheridan near Ferrindale? I'm thinking about heading down there Thursday. Just wondering what to expect as far as a boat ramp and the road in to the place. There is an older gentleman on my route here in Benton that told me about it. Just wondering if anyone on here has ever been there?

yea i have fished it its got a decent amount of small crappie in it like 8 to 10 inchers. never caught any good ones out of it but usually catch some fish everytime i go. don't go without minnows jigs arent very effective there. the road is a gravel road sometimes its good just depends on if it has flooded recently the ramp is concrete and is fine to launch a boat. good luck let me know how you do. the best bank is the one right by the ramp to the right. if they aint there try trolling about 20 yards from the bank opposite of the boat ramp a little to the right. good luck

Thanks for the info! I'll let you know how it goes.

ok good luck to you. I would take a bass rod to there is some decent bass fishing as well if the crappie aren't biting to well

actually with the recent rains I bet it is really high im not sure though

Last time I went, I fished a red/chartruse hair jig and did "ok". Probably caught 15 or so. A black/white tube jig will do ok at times as well. Rieve is correct. I have caught some really nice bass out of that lake over the years...

Hey rieve, I didn't make it to Grays Lake. Met my mom at Harris Brake instead, but I am planning on getting down there sometime soon. Thanks again for the info.
