Moro Bay Information
I am taking the kids down for a few days next week for spring break. I have never been to this area of the State and any information on locating and fishing for crappie in this area would be great. Also any good eating places or must do for the area. I notice they never have any information on the fishing report.

I have fished moro bay a few times. The fish that I have caught came from around the docks in the bay. I have also fished Raymond lake a few times, which is just out of the bay to the left. As far as finding the fish, the water temps are rising so look for them around tops and/or shallow points or flats. Check out google earth and you can see alot of the timber and structure. Right now the river has been up and down. The water level is changing with all the recent rain. I fish around felsenthal alot and haven't been doing to good. As far as eating, there is a good burger place in Strong. I can't remember the name of it but is right behind the gas station at the intersection coming from moro bay. Also Abe's Feed Store is located in Urbana which is not too far from the bay. I hope some of this may help. There are others who may have more info. but that's my 2 cents.

Thanks for the info. We will make the best of it. Hope we can catch them crappie right. I have not had the best of luck this year. I got my HB 570 DI fish finder up and working on my john boat.
