There are a few gators around Chicot. There was one in the gravel pit area that would come up to your boat. It wasn't being aggressive it was just looking for something sweet. People would feed it cookies and pieces of snack cakes. It was more of a pet than a threat.

Learn to call the hogs. It repels gators...and tigers...and tides...and...
