Reelfoot 3-10-12

Well folks we fished Reelfoot on Saturday and the wind was pretty tough. We managed to get 10 crappie and 1 stripe jack. We were using juiced up baits with a black & chart jigs and that was all we could get them to hit on. We fished out from Green Island to Swain Basin in water that was 10 to 12 ft deep, with the fish holding around 8ft deep. The were not huge but it made a great supper. I hope this wind lets up because the boat control was very hard. I had a great time and I can't wait to get back out there and try them again.

Nice catch Lynn. I was down there too. I was down around Swan Basin. I met Cracker68 while I was down there and we had a decent chat. I only caught 5 before I had to leave, but I had one that went 2 lbs 2 oz.

Dont catch em all before I get there on Wednesday. You cant miss me Ill be the only person fishing out of a Porta Bote I bet...lol
