Just found out last night that my Terrova wont mount to my SeaArk as easy as I thought. After sleeping on it I had my shop start to build me a bracket out of "C" channel. Should be a easy bracket to make. I wanted to see some pics of other SeaArks with Terrovas on them to see how you mounted them so if ya could please post some pics!
I do not know the answer to your question, but i want to tell you the following. Just this week , i had a Sea Ark, must have been 19 or so on my canal, with minn kota, center console. This was a great looking boat. Just saying--------------

I suppose your bow beam is higher than your deck? Lots of boats require the trolling motor mount to raise the TM base to bow beam height, if that's your problem.

If you will notice....I have a wedge under the TM where the front of the bow slopes off. I cut this wedge out of a piece of hardwood and painted it to match the boat. I cut a piece of rubber out of a old inner tube and glued it to the bottom side of the wedge. I went ahead and mounted the TM first and then tapped this wedge into place....I then drilled though the holes in the TM down though the wedge and through the top of the boat For the rest of the bolts. There are 7 stainless steel bolts with big flat washers and lock nuts holding the TM on. I had to go through the front deck storage compartment ....a long reach to put the nuts and washers on the bolts. Its rock solid does not move or wiggle. Works good.

i would mount a larger metal flat plate to the boat, then mount the motor to that, personally i would not ever put a stick of wood in or on a boat. good luck on your mount, they should make a better desgn in there boats, i would call and talk to someone, they are bound to make and adapeter plate of somesort, i mean any trolling motor would be hard to mount to that!
