When running the sonar I can see the contour changing on the sonar but the digital depth window is staying on 1ft. Any ideas on how to get the digital window to track bottom?

it should track the bottom. be sure you have the latest software. take a snapshot of what your talking about and post it hereQuote:

If you know of someone else that runs a Humminbird DI model, you could test your unit on their boat to help in diagnosing just where the problem is.
The Screen Snapshots of what you are seeing on your unit and the pictures of your transducer install will help as well.
