Ethernet Question for HB 798 and 788

I recently purchased a new HB 788 to add to my HB 798 which was purchased new last year. Both are the new models the are capable of the ethernet connection. I currently have a map card in my HB 798 which is on the console. I will be placing the HB 788 on the bow. Question, when I ethernet these two units together, will I be able to see the map card data on the HB 788?

no not from your console.......just the maps on the 788

You will only see the maps on whatever unit has the map card. If you have the new 788 HD DI then you will have ContourXD maps. That doesn't mean the lake you goto will be one of the maps it has. Contour maps are better than Unimaps.

Not being able to share map card data between units is Navionic's way of making you buy a map card for each unit... Greedy...ain't they...??
