Mallard Minner
Tied a couple of these and got to try em out yesterday. They worked pretty good. Sorry I didn't get any pics of the fish, didn't have a camera with me, but I didn't catch nothin special. Few small crappie and couple bream, and a bass. But if felt good to catch a fish or two on her.

Yep db them work really well. If you want to take it to the next level do a search for Flash Duck jigs. Jungle Jim ties them and he has many patterns and color combos of them. Mallard and Gadwall flank has become two of my favorite tying materials. Glad your having success on them.

That has a great, very natural look.

yes. 1/32 head. The mallard feathers work very well in the water they lay together alot like the maribou, but stay stiff.
