Gps????

I am new to using GPS. Going to purchase HDS 5 or HDS 7. If I am creating a trail and go to split screen sonar for a period , will my GPS continue to track me and show this when I return to that screen? would I be better off going with the HDS 7 with the larger screen and larger pixal count. Anybody have this unit? Do you like it? .... Thanks, you guys have all the answers.

Yes the trail will always work when you are on any screen and move back to the map. The 7 is a bigger screen and will help view split screens better.

No one ever wished their screen was smaller. Get the biggest you can afford.
