i have been trying to get my waypoints off my 597 i have been unable i bought a new sd card tryed it i tryed uploading a waypoint to it first that didnt work anybody have any ideas thanks

Go to the GPS Diagnostic View and see if it lists anything in the SD Card info box.
It sounds like you either have a bad SD card or something is wrong with the card reader in your 597ci HD DI unit. You may have to send it in to Humminbird to be worked on. 1-800-633-1468

it did let me update it yesterday and i have tryed several sd cards
Does the SD card have a manual "Lock slide switch" on the left edge of the card....??

thanks all i am sending my 597 back in humminbird thinks their is something wrong with the card reader
