Following the sticky above which i might add is very easy, my question is attaching the transducer. As you can see in the pic the tranducer for my new 858cDI is to long for the flat mounting location. I am thinking wrong or can i just have it face the other way? Just dont think i can get it to hold if i try and band it on the slant/left side of pic. What say u experts?
You should be able toturn it around with no problem it is not directional.
Thats what i had in my mind also that is shouldnt make a bit of difference
doesn't HB swap out those transom ducers for a TM ducer free????
Jimp, you are right. HB will trade those out at no cost. The last time they swaped one for me no problem. They sent me a return authorization and I sent it to them. I had the new one in 2-3 days. PM Hummingbird_Greg if you have questions. Great service....
We only exchange new, unmounted transducers…
