I am really wanting a better unit than what came with the boat and need some ideas. I am new to fish fingers and not wanting to blow a few hundred dollars by not getting the right equipment and receiving interference from the trolling motor.

Interference is definately an aggrivating problem for those that experience it...
But not everyone has interference...
Every boat setup is different.... Some get interference.... Some don't....
We only hear about the unlucky one's that do get interference...
Everyone else is out fishing....
Buy the unit that has the features you need for your favorite fishing methods....
If you get interference... Bring it in here and we'll try to help you track it down...
