Your preference!
I look at so many of ya'lls jigs, and everyone uses dffrent material, i.e. marabou, neck, etc...but I'm not seeing alot of craft hair used...any particular reason? Reason I asked is I have a huge stock pile of craft hair...which I do mix in with marabou and neck...have any of you guys had good luck with craft hair? I'm tying some now...just no field testing yet....I watch carefully any see some simular styles but with your own twists...just a thought....windy here again today...so I guess I'll keep building jigs....Later Liftbite

I use some for Crappie jigs. The action is good and it's more durable than Maribou. I'm finishing an order for some bass jigs that are tied with it, and it's another option for the little Smallmouth jigs popular around here. The extra select has more long strands than the regular and makes better big jigs.

I have a friend that is a guide and he ties his own and uses a lot of Craft fur. He turned me on to one pattern I have tries and know it works pretty well. I am on my phone right now, but later I will get on my computer and post a picture of it. I can tell you I have some other cord of it, but hardly ever tie with it or fish with it either. The color I like is the one that starts out black and turns silver as it goes out!
