I'm going to Shelbyville in the morning and never been there before. Any tips on where to start?
Not knowing your electronic setup, I would got to wolf creek state park. Reason one, fishing been better on the southern end. Reason 2, standing timber near ramp. Reason 3, if you do have nice electonics, you can find brush or stumps on many banks. My $0.02.
I've been talking to alot of people and hardly any fish have been caught on the north end either on the bank or in a boat. Have heard that they been biting around point 2 which is lone point or point 5 eagle creek. I think the water temp needs to warm up a few degrees before the north end will start producing again. The ice finally all melted off on friday.
