For spinning reels l dearly love the Phlueger or however they are spelled. You can get a small spinning one for around $30, I have 2 of them on my poles. I also have a bigger one Walmart even sells on one of my bass poles. They are super smooth and made of aluminum, no cheap plastic junk.
Grizzly has the Diawa Sweepfires for $11.95 each I believe. They are good reels for the price. That's what I have on all of my trolling poles.
B n M west point spinning reel at grizzlyjig.com 19.95 I have one , no troubles !
I too like the Pflueger. I think the Trion is their cheapest model. I have two of those matched up on 12' Pinnacle Vertex jigging poles and I have a Pflueger President on a 7' rod I use for casting. The President if awesome. It is super smoother and has a fantastic drag. Also have a few Shimanos but I think the Pfluegers are better dollar for dollar.
I too use the Pflueger Trions. I've had a some for a couple of years now with no trouble. Very smooth for the price.
Mitchell avocets are around 22 bucks at Walmart. They don't seem to be too bad if you're just jigging and not casting.
Monks has shimano spinning reels 4 for $40. I use them, the rear drag is handy if you get a handful of them hung up all at once.
Greetings. This is my first post. I fish what I call the big 3 in GA Lanier, Oconee, and Westpoint weekly. If you are looking for some cheap but good crappie spinning reels, take a look at Shimano R1000 rear drag. I picked up 4 for about 30bucks this past October. I can't remember the site, just search for Shimano R1000.
