burnt cane?????

anybody been there?

Never done it with crappie fishing. But one time I was duck hunting with these two gewbers sitting in a cane thicket about 50 feet around when one of them decided to light a Coleman heater and spilled the fuel, then lit it off. Whole darn thicket went up around us in about 15 seconds.
