Since I am in the market for a new jig pole....any words of wisdom before I buy one??
Any graphite light weight two piece a must....I have old Uncle Buck rods that have held up good. I Like 10 or 11 foot married with a Spinning reel...so as to flip docks stumps and cast some with small bobber, in addition to vertically wacking them.

I really like my B&M - Russ Bailey edition and my B&M - Buck's Graphite Jig Pole. I really would like to try a Sam Heaton Super Sensitive...I think it might be better suited for single poling.
I use the tournament choice Rods at academy. Can't beat em for the money.

I prefer a B&M. I have both Buck's Best and the Ultralight. I have 2 eleven's but I love my 10's.
